S8 Insights exists to give serious football followers the research, context and structured analysis they don't have the time to produce themselves.
The aim isn't to replace your judgement. It is to support it: the reasoning goes on the page so you can judge it, and the record stays public so you can judge that too.
S8 Insights is researched, modelled and written by one independent analyst, publishing under the platform's name. I'd rather be judged by something harder to fake than a name and a photo: every position I publish, logged publicly, wins and losses both. The record is the accountability.
Football has always been more than entertainment to me. From a young age I was drawn to the game, and to the numbers underneath it. As that interest grew, so did a harder question: could football decisions be made with structure, rather than instinct alone? That question became S8 Insights, and rather than keep the work private, I built it to be shared.
I spent more than two years building the models before S8 Insights published anything: testing approaches, refining a few, discarding most. What survived is the framework the service runs on today, built around one principle: compare probability with price, and only act when genuine value exists.
The methodology stays proprietary, and it continues to evolve every season. The principles don't: quality data, challenged assumptions, and the discipline to walk away when the numbers and the price agree.
Transparency here is not a marketing strategy; it is the control system. Every published position, win or lose, is information. Publishing all of it creates accountability, forces improvement, and lets you judge the process for yourself rather than relying on selective screenshots or exaggerated claims.
