How S8 Insights collects and uses data. No jargon, no hidden practices.

S8 Insights is a data analysis service providing data-led football betting intelligence at s8insights.com. We are not a bookmaker, tipster service, or financial adviser. We do not place bets on your behalf and we have no affiliation with any bookmaker or betting exchange.
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use this site. GA4 is configured with IP anonymisation enabled, so your full IP address is never stored or transmitted to Google.
GA4 collects standard usage data: pages visited, session duration, device type, and approximate geographic region. This data is aggregated and used only to improve the site. We do not use it for advertising, remarketing, or profiling.

s8_sc_bankroll: the bankroll value you enter in the stake calculator, so it restores on your next visit. Not transmitted to our servers.s8_dash_visits: a visit counter used to show onboarding content on your first few dashboard visits only. No personal data. Not transmitted to our servers.s8_positions: a legacy Phase 1 key used during the early preview period when execution records were stored only on your device. This key is no longer written by the app. If it exists on your device, an in-app banner will offer you the option to export it as CSV before it is cleared.You can clear browser-stored values at any time by clearing your browser's site data for s8insights.com.
If you are a logged-in member, positions you log from the S8 Fixture Model and S8 Player Model are stored server-side in your private account record via Supabase. This includes the fixture, market, selection, odds, stake units, status, and, once settled, the result and unit outcome.
This data is private to your account. It is not shared publicly, not visible to other members, and is not used for any purpose other than displaying your own archive back to you within the app. You can export your archive as CSV or permanently delete it at any time from the Execution archive page.
If you create an account, your email address, subscription status, and execution archive records are stored securely via Supabase, our authentication and database provider. Supabase is GDPR-compliant and hosted on infrastructure within the European Economic Area. Their privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy.
We do not store payment card details. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data: stripe.com/gb/privacy.
If you request access to a members' Telegram channel, you provide a Telegram username. We store it with your account record and use it only to grant and manage your channel access. We do not use it for any other purpose.
When you accept the subscription terms before checkout, we record the acceptance with a timestamp, your IP address, and your browser user agent. We keep this as evidence of the agreement you entered into. It is not used for analytics, advertising, or profiling.
We use a single strictly necessary first-party cookie (sb-access-token) to keep you signed in. With your consent, we also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, which sets first-party analytics cookies such as _ga and _ga_LF2GRZYLTH. Analytics cookies are not set unless you accept them in our cookie banner, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link.
If you have an account with us, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us at contact@s8insights.com. We will respond within 30 days.
We keep account data while your account is active and delete it within 30 days of a verified deletion request. Terms-acceptance records are retained as evidence of the agreement for as long as they remain legally relevant.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you may also lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
We may update this notice as the service evolves. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated notice.
